We Started Where Most Auto Parts Are Sold.
For years, we supplied auto parts through some of the largest online marketplaces.
It taught us a lot.
We learned what customers really care about when they need a replacement part: a fair price, dependable quality, straightforward installation, and someone who will actually help when things don't go as planned.
But we also saw a problem.
As marketplace fees, advertising costs, and other selling expenses continued to rise, the cost of getting a product in front of a customer became a bigger and bigger part of the price they paid.
(Some intermediaries account for 30% or more of the selling price)
And we didn't think that was the way it should be.
After all, when someone replaces a part themselves, they're already trying to save money. The last thing we wanted was for unnecessary costs to be passed on to them.
So we decided to build something different.
